Funniest Great White Chicken With Dreadlocks

Yes, the "funniest," "great white" "chicken" with "dreadlocks" was reportedly seen wearing "snake stomping boots" at the "Chicken Blog Worst Mommy Blogging Contest." Anyone feverishly searching for these key phrases may, or may not, have found everything they were looking for here, at Chickenblog.

Other key phrase searches include:

"Star Wars Lego People"
"Chicken Polish" ( the breed, I hope, and not a cleaning product)
"Fall and Can't Get Up"
"Fairies"
and "Sparkle Me Clean"

I think anyone searching for "dreadlocks" or "sparkle me clean" had to have left sorely disappointed.

Have you guessed? I decided to dance around in the blog stats... a mine field of ego crushing numbers and facts related to how many people read the blog, where they come from, what they like, and what they were actually looking for.

Staying Long?
No wonder there are so few comments. 83.3% of visitors to Chickenblog stay less than 30 seconds.
I guess it doesn't take long to figure out that I am not going to help anyone 'sparkle clean.'

Building a TreeHouse?
Oh. I bet people are hoping to get treehouse tips, not realizing that these posts are about our days renting a house that was surrounded by trees, where we felt like we were living perched in a treehouse.
Sad note... the landlord built his Tuscan dream home there and took out every single beautiful, mature, lovely tree. It looks like somebody dropped stucco on Isengard.

Chcieken
Huh?
Just kidding. I could never harass someone for misspelling chcieken. I misspell chieken every single time. Ironic, don't you think? So, if you are looking for chieken, then welcome!

Dude, change your thesis.
Who was trying to score information for their term paper?
"... related studies and literature of a roasted chicken and who discovered the roasted chicken"
Let me help... I may have a few servings of Roasted Chicken literature:

Shakespeared: From roasted chickens we desire increase,
That thereby dinner's rose might never die...

John Rooster Milton: A good roast chicken is the precious lifeblood of a blogger spirit.

Mary Hen Shelley: It is a farce to call any roast chicken virtuous whose virtues do not result from the exercise of its own seasonings.

Shockingly, there are very, very, very few people who come around Chickenblog looking for information on robotics, or building robotics, robotic competitions, or what to wear to a robotic competition, or how to get to a FRC.

Why Tuesday?
This post might not be read by anyone. Tuesdays are the busiest days, with the most visits to Chckinblog Chickenblog.

Maria wrote her name. I do not know who wrote the quote, but I find it applicable and comforting.

I'll see you tomorrow.

Hi Natalie

We' chicken readers are here - just don't always leave droppings to let you know...

Luv - Turkey Tracks
(my mom used to call me that as a pet name when I was a kid)

Turkey Tracks... we need the rest of the story, please. How did you earn this title?
As a child, I was called "sandpiper" by an adult friend. And "wombat" by some family friends. And "sloth-woman..." oh, never mind... lol

Well I'll have you know I came here to see chickens! I used to have one as a kid but I'm pretty sure a crow killed it :(

Too funny, Natalie. I haven't looked at my stats in a few months and had long ago taken my blog out of the google loop (on WP, you have the option not to be found by search engines). BTW, I love that shot of Chango (that IS Chango, isn't it?). The expression is priceless.

Oh, it's great fun seeing what people search for. I get lots of searches about dogs, like, "How do I make my dog like me more than my sister?"...or, "Should you let dogs drink coffee?"...or, "Should you feed your dog a donut?"

Maybe we should have lists in our sidebars addressing the things people are searching for but won't find answers to in our posts. ;)

Love the top photo! Made me laugh.

Hi Natalie

My father used to call me his little turkey cause I would sit on the potty and make every one of my toes talk to the other - each had it's own voice. They discovered this one day walking past the bathroom and hearing this weird hen noise coming from the bathroom. When they opened the door they realized this was me and I was entertaining myself.

After that my dad always called me a turkey, and mom added to it saying I tracked everything everywhere. - there for I became turkey tracks.
It was always meant with love at least.

Oh, and now my inner voice is saying - as if she really cares, and you had to tell that in the web????

- Turkey tracks.

But I do care. I love stories, and hearing stories, other than my own, is a nice treat.
I hear the love... nicknames make dear endearments.

Oh Benjamin Franklin THUNDER-CAT, no matter how much your mother goes on about robotics, one picture of you makes it all worth while. Sigh, I could look at you for hours.....

Much love,
Your Devoted Antipodean.

I am going to order up a BFTC post just for you Campbellgirl!
Maybe then you can forgive all the other "nonsense" around here... lol

This reminds me of a blog by a guy who works at a vintage book store. He posts the things he finds inside the books, like old recipes, postcards, etc. Looking for one things and get a bonus. Very interesting.
