Sorting All the Goodness

I am just beginning to edit photographs from one day, this past weekend.
What a day.
What fun.
Good news, and happy endings.
Music, laughter, reunions.
Discovery.
Inspiration.
And sharing.
Isn't it wonderful how some good things are even better shared?

Now, I am just trying to figure out how to share all of these images, and the memories that go with them. Honestly, I am still savoring the moments, lingering over the stories, the warmth. So, before I even attempt to post about Michal and Michael's first Biergarten Party of the new year, I am going to do a little more processing.

But I will leave you with a small sampling of the loveliness we have enjoyed.

Some moments that leave me feeling blessed, and thankful.

It was the kind of day that made the world smaller, circles bigger, and everything a bit brighter.

Oh my - I just came back to look at this post a second time this morning and was startled by Alex! I didn't even see him the first time at all! :) I love Eli's "have banjo, will travel" vibe... and William is dapper and handsome man!

The girls and their dancing frocks - was there a video taken per chance?

Big fires and big smiles... and music playing here and there. What a perfect day. *sigh*

The hard part is respecting people's privacy... not everyone wants to be appear on CB. Time for a consent and release form?
Nah... I think that would make people uncomfortable in advance, and I would not want to interfere with the good times!

Yeah... he and Max have been practicing the art of the disembodied-suddenly appearing head... creepy hilarity... maybe a new photo-meme? They really are being themselves. Eli is, to the core, the "have banjo, will travel" guy! And you know how happy-thankful-happy I am about seeing my young man in the mix.
Lot's of fun, and yet... I believe the scene will not be complete until you and Amira are with us... very soon, I know!
