Ripple is the only kind of crocheted afghan I know how to make. Well, besides plain old double crochet. I never could learn to do granny squares, but they aren't my favorite anyway. Unfortunately, my hands won't let me crochet anymore. Too much arthritis and carpal tunnel.

I love that the kitties purr at you when you're crocheting. :)Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14201860227400017841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3534240.post-40309898240295073002011-01-14T14:42:03.130-08:002011-01-14T14:42:03.130-08:00Wow! I must unearth and get rippling again. I'm inspired as well to make this my own year of the ripple, rescuing my first unsuccessful attempt from the craft closet and beginning again with that tutorial help.... Well done! Kitties and children really know their stuff, don't they?!Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18383220573177416855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3534240.post-53594910508635879072011-01-13T08:26:49.150-08:002011-01-13T08:26:49.150-08:00Big yarn. Hopefully my sale-bin acrylic will stay soft and comfy. Probably the key is to keep it from long cycles in a hot dryer...Natalie, the Chickenbloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07424213130274740719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3534240.post-55719823812413200942011-01-13T08:13:38.304-08:002011-01-13T08:13:38.304-08:00That's a lot of crocheting! I wish we could sit together, watching the kitties shelter from the snow, and I would teach you how to crochet.Natalie, the Chickenbloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07424213130274740719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3534240.post-32764150644922916232011-01-12T16:17:23.890-08:002011-01-12T16:17:23.890-08:00I love the cuddliness, the coziness, and the purri...I love the cuddliness, the coziness, and the purring.
