The biggest thing about the weather these days is the range of temps during a given day -- in the 30s or 40s in the early morning, and then mid 70s by afternoon; name of the game is "layers." I'm using the hints in here to put some preliminary plans in place, and hardly many sleeps left to go!Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18383220573177416855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3534240.post-42499657151374128032016-10-06T13:34:53.991-07:002016-10-06T13:34:53.991-07:00Thank you, Sheila. I know it's probably for the best!<br />I am so looking forward to forest smells, and a good excuse to wear scarves and gloves.Natalie, the Chickenbloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07424213130274740719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3534240.post-40686530350756515202016-10-06T05:14:48.306-07:002016-10-06T05:14:48.306-07:00Lovely to hear about your New England plans. The mornings will be cool, so you'll want to dress in layers that you shed as the day gets warmer. Dressing for comfort is the key, hot cold, dry wet. Clothes-wise, a light rain or wind jacket (it will be windy) to keep dry and warm, warm layer of fleece or wool, long pants, light gloves for those cool mornings, stylish scarf, a hat and you're all set. A pair of shorts could come in handy. Comfy walking shoes and sun glasses for sure!! lots of sun in the forecast. If you go north of Portland, don't miss Acadia National Park for hiking. You'll love the colors and the forest smells. Looking forward to your many many pictures and stories. Have a wonderful trip!Sheilanoreply@blogger.com
