A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment.
A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

Now that girl has some style! Hope she got warm! Have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't any colder than 60-something, but only days before we were adapting to 90-something. And a hard wind off the ocean does add a wind-chill. Probably a minute later she was in the car, under a blanket and being read to by her brother, Max.
DeleteHappy weekend to you, too, Melissa.
Nice boots Maria! It looks blustery and chilly. Perfect for hot chocolate and pumpkin scones!
ReplyDeleteBoy, was it!
DeleteI could enjoy a hot chocolate, just thinking of that wind chill!
Is Maria cold, or sad, or both? Sorry to hear about little Puff. I'm glad Tasha seems to be feeling better. Animals seem able to heal themselves pretty well.
ReplyDeleteHappiness, joy, light, and levity,
Tutu
What a sweet moment!
ReplyDeleteMy Moment!
Thank you. It was brisk and sweet.
DeleteWell, I guess she's a little of both! It was so cold, she got sad!
ReplyDeleteWe stopped at the ocean bluff, last Saturday, and were literally *blown-away* by the hard wind coming off the ocean. After all of our moaning about hot days, it's nice to welcome this seasonal weather.
Poor-poor Puff, and poor Max who discovered her. Something was vicious in its attack... a hawk, we suspect.
Thank you for the HJLL <3, Tutu
Oh, Puff... and Max. I'm so sorry.
DeleteYour weather has chilled a bit!
ReplyDeleteAnd then, poor Puff.
Animals bring so much joy and so much sorrow.
Every time we have a pet die I say "no more. I simply cannot bear the sadness of their death" but then I remember the joy and begin searching for another.
thinking of you Natalie
We dipped way down into chilly town!
DeleteYou said it just right, Jenny. I cried and felt horrible, and had that moment of "why-do-pets-die! why-keep-pets!" but you're right: the joy is priceless, and so we embrace life.
Thank you, Jenny.
warm ((hugs))
Natalie - you are my sister in this way. It's one of the many reasons I love you so very much!
DeleteI love her coat and boots!

I know how it can be with weather changes. A few months ago, 50 degrees and we would have been wrapped in our warmest. And these recent 50 degree days following a cold spell of highs in the 30s.. makes for t-shirts and flip flops!!
ReplyDeleteBe like the bird, who, halting in her flight on a limb too slight, feels it give way beneath her, yet sings -- knowing she has wings.

ooohhhhh here comes the cold weather!
