Anyway, my brother -- an avid outdoorsman and naturalist -- tells me at times like this that death is in fact a part of life. That life is a cycle, with a beginning, middle, and end; each individual life is not endless nor immortal but it is the bigger circle of life that IS continuous and goes on forever. The idea is that each life is part of that bigger circle, but it is the nature of life to end. And so it goes on. I do find it comforting somehow, even though so often the circumstances of death can seem so arbitrary and unfair. I hope that each passing day brings some comfort and peace and hope~~~Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18383220573177416855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3534240.post-87344139426522857062013-09-26T23:56:22.600-07:002013-09-26T23:56:22.600-07:00Sending you, Maria, and William.. Let me know if you need the connection. Please except my heart felt, and tear filled condolences. He was loved, and it showed. I am positive he knew how much too.

Jenn in CaliforniaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3534240.post-4580635026771574572013-09-25T15:41:55.535-07:002013-09-25T15:41:55.535-07:00So sorry to hear about losing Benjamin. Grieving is hard and painful, but it's respectful and authentic and loving, too, and I hope you don't feel rushed through it.

Benjamin looks a lot like my very first cat friend, Naja, who used to sit on the math papers I was trying to mark, teaching me all about the importance of cats and purrs and lovings, even in the face of marking deadlines. Good lessons to learn.

Big hugs to you, Natalie.
