They look fun... maybe because they are novel. I am with you about riding in traffic. We have too much traffic, and too many careless drivers in Southern California. What we do have, that helps, are some neighborhood streets that wind around with lots of cul-de-sacs, so there tend to be fewer vehicles in these sections. It means we ride the same small route everyday. It's not unpleasant. I am really looking forward to someday riding where there are long trails with no cars, or riding where we can get to new spots, destinations, because, yes, bicycling itself is lovely!Natalie, the Chickenbloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07424213130274740719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3534240.post-52953132788679449152021-05-21T18:49:34.490-07:002021-05-21T18:49:34.490-07:00My late husband always teased me about us getting ...My late husband always teased me about us getting a tandem to ride together. I could never get on board with that idea! I used to ride my bike a lot, my whole life, until we moved into town, and then it was no fun navigating all the traffic. It takes a long time to get to the country roads, and even there you have to be aware that every few minutes another big and heavy hunk of metal will come barrelling along behind and pass, only a foot to your left. Yikes!

It makes me very happy that you have pleasant places to ride. Bicycling in itself is lovely.gretchenjoannahttp://www.gretchenjoanna.comnoreply@blogger.com
