We are breathing and putting one foot in front of another. We are keeping appointments and dusting corners. It may not seem like much, but sometimes it's a tremendous success... just being where you are meant to be and moving on faith.
We lost another home, we are keeping another offer on life support. We are visiting 5 more houses today. We remind each other to remain detached. Buying a home has been a simultaneously mind numbingly boring process and an emotionally, physically wrecking one. I could say more.
The chickens lay eggs. The children laugh. Geoff holds my hand. The cats are cats. Steve flew away. I am moving on faith. Waiting.
And you are always a dear friend.
ReplyDeleteChildren laughing, chickens laying eggs, husband holding hands, cats being cats... sounds pretty good to me.
ReplyDeleteI still remember the long, hot (it was August), exhausting days of going through house after house. It is physically and emotionally difficult for sure.
I wish you the best in your search.
so many blessings...I'm lifting you in prayer that He will also bless you with the perfect fitting house. Such house toils will surely bring outstanding rewards.
ReplyDeleteblessings,
Missy
A perfect illustration of treading water.... hang in there, Natalie. And the very best wishes to you!
ReplyDeleteAt such times it's seems even more important to count one's blessing, the good now, isn't it? Sometimes it's during the waiting we find reserves of grace we didn't even know we had. :o) Sending happy new home vibes your way! ((BIG HUGS))
ReplyDeleteKeep your chin up....it will work yet...
ReplyDeleteThinking of you. XO.
