This picture evokes no less than forty-two sentiments, forty-two utterances, forty-two joyful exclamations. Maria is learning to skate, to fall, to get up, to tie laces, to strap on gear.
that's the kind of fashion that melts my heart... but only on kids :) it's very cute. must make you proud seeing her getting really to go out on her skates!
I caught up with your posts today at work, but my outdated browser usually won't let me comment on your blog...so I just wanted to say I loved your Wisconsin pictures and feel a bit jealous (yeah, I went to Europe this summer and I'm still jealous of your vacation. Maybe because there were no toads).
I know they say that kids grow up and leave before you know it, but I think you are "knowing it" every day.
Just saw your bit on the sidebar re: commenting issues. I had this same problem on another blog, but she switched to a separate pop-up window for comments and that solved it. When I try to comment from work, it puts me into a circle of signing in over and over into my Blogger account (that I'm already signed into).
Hello everyone! So fun to see lots of comments, from new friends and old. And Flartus, than you for the commenting format suggestion. I switched to the pop-up style, and hopefully this makes a helpful difference.
It did take me awhile to comment, but here I am!!
ReplyDeleteI think I love Maria. THIS is what a beautiful child should be....
