{Months ago, our automated, computer controlled irrigation system died. We cannot say how old it is; it came with the house. Fortunately, El Niño has done enough of job that our yard hasn't died without watering. But the dread task of replacing the system was hanging over us, until Geoff decided to give an open source system, Open Sprinkler a try. He just finished installing it this morning. We're hopeful!}

ReplyDeleteSo far so good. I'll have Geoff write something up. Yesterday we went around the yard checking all the stations and sprinkler heads... The cool part was Geoff controlled everything from his phone.
