Doggo Camp at the Bird House

Over the weekend we got to host Sofie and Stella, Mahshid and Patrick's sweet pups.

I overthink this... I like dogs, a lot, and that may be why we don't have one. I worry that I won't be able to give them the time and attention they crave. I would feel terrible if I neglected them. But other than worrying about whether I can keep them happy, I absolutely love having Sofie and Stella over. They crack me up. They're so sweet and funny, and adorable.

Mahshid dropped them off with bows on their darling, freshly groomed heads. Most pictures of them are a blur! Just mad laps around the big back yard, where they chase smells, follow chirps, and literally roll in the hay! Am I supposed to put them on a lead, and walk them? I don't think they need it. We play so hard in our backyard, that they come in and crash. And it's been brilliant weather for mad dashes through the garden, and long fireside naps.

How do you know your pups have had a good time at Doggo Camp? Maybe muddy paws, and straw in their tails are some good signs.

I know I had a good time.
