Tomorrow Home
Even though we did not make it the Chocolate Museum, our time here is almost up. We have seen art and grime, we have heard melodies and crack of dawn bells and sirens... we have had a very good time. We feel Metro confident now. We know Gaudi and where to have a delicious meal, with comfortable ambience. We pay sincere homage to Mc-D's and their free wifi, clean bathrooms and the fact that they serve beer. We did not order the beer, but the wifi and bathrooms that were much appreciated. Gracies Senor McFlurry.

Tonight we packed and organized, after finding one open shop that sells bags to people who bought a bit much... no names, just initials: NAVV, a.k.a. "Craky-Lu." Next we pick up a few snacks for the 15 flight, then a farewell Sangria and night-night.

Chicken Abroad thanks you for comments and support, for your faith and encouragement.

  1. Bon voyage! Bienvenue a US. When you wake up from jet lag, CALL me. Por favor.

  2. Wow! It seems like it went really fast. I know you will be happy to be at home... and they will be happy to have you back.

  3. I recently went on a trip to France, a gift from a very kind friend. There is such a feeling of freedom and inspiration when one is not saddled with the everyday routine. We learned alot about traveling on the metro..... :)
The following Friday, while cleaning a catbox and cleaning a chicken felt so surreal.. I kept thinking and to think last week this time I was in Paris......

  4. Oh, Natalie...How late I am getting here to see/read of your adventures...The time has gone so quickly. I've been catching up on your posts...The tears are flowing, as I am so thrilled you had this opportunity. Savoring every works of all you've seen and done...and not least the photos of you ABROAD! Safe travels home...It's funny how going away makes you appreciate home even more. Wishing you happy days as you bask in the glow of your travels and memories...((HUGS))

  5. Oh Natalie - safe and happy travels home!
