Hey, Sanka!
Sanka, have you heard?
Happy Lunar New Year, pretty bunny.
And did you know, this is the year of the rabbit? The Golden Rabbit.
Of course you know.
What a great year to be a bunny. What a great year for all of our family, and yours. "According to Chinese tradition, the Rabbit brings a year in which you can catch your breath and calm your nerves. It is a time for negotiation. Don't try to force issues, because if you do you will ultimately fail. To gain the greatest benefits from this time, focus on home, family, security, diplomacy, and your relationships with women and children. Make it a goal to create a safe, peaceful lifestyle, so you will be able to calmly deal with any problem that may arise."
Oh, Sanka... this sounds wonderful.

A year to calm your nerves. Sounds just about right. I got big nerve calming plans. Big.
Calm my nerves: I am ready to embrace this concept too.
And "focus on... your relationship with women and children..." I read that part to Geoff, twice! Bring it on!
Breath catching and nerve calming sounds great to me, too. How nice to be notified in advance of what to look forward to! Is there a year coming up of nerve wracking breath losing? If so, I'm leaving town...
It sounds like a wonderful plan for the year ahead.
thank you for the beautiful bunny pictures! sanka's adorable. happy year of the rabbit! : )
Good idea! Mom needs to calm herself and her nerves! Tomorrow at her job she plans to make fortune cookies for the kids in her classroom! All the kids want to have been born the year of the tiger, and are unhappy to learn they are not.
Sanka the rabbit is real cute!
Should we also eat more carrots this year?
I'm in. Totally.
rabbits are very funny, greetings from blogger Indonesia.
what a beautiful bunny rabbit! I love his name...Sanka. Does that have anything to do with coffee?
Sankanator... sounds like *saun-ka-nay-tor*
She was raised by a family friend, Olivia, and given to us last summer. (http://www.chickenblog.com/2010/08/yes-two-and-one-more-thing.html)
Because the bunny has one blue eye, like a pig that Olivia knew, Olivia named the bunny after the pig! Maria liked the name enough to keep it. She is a cutie. We let her hop in the empty raised beds today, while Maria and I were planting some flowers.
Did everyone get the message? Eat more carrots in the year of the Golden Rabbit. Thank you Warren.
I love that we are all in agreement about the calm. Peace for all!
I look forward to this peaceful year. Sanka is so cute.. I love bunny faces.
