"Impressed" might be too strong a word... hahaha... Trader Joes' refrigerator biscuits... break open can, cut holes from center of each biscuit. Heat cooking oil, and fry the biscuits, rings and holes. In a double boiler warm a bit of cooking oil and add a pile of semi-sweet chocolate chips to melt. Drain donuts on a paper bag, cool a bit, then spread with chocolate... or roll them in cinnamon sprinkled powdered sugar. The trick is to get the heat strong enough to cook the dough inside without burning the outside. Cannot say they are fabulous, and let's not mention the *health values*... but once a year is good for some fun!
