Maria is looking at the cover of the Junior cookbook Calamity Kim sent her. They were pausing between books six and seven of the Harry Potter series. Max just finished reading aloud, and we had a fire going in the office... it was a warm comfort. Poor Dumbledore is dead, and Maria has been trying to come to terms with this... between chapters she would find me and either explain plot details, or present a new theory as to how Dumbledore might not actually be dead.
