I cut out the lid from a food take-out container, then drew a bird on it. By pressing a pencil into the soft foam,
I made a stamp, like Maria and her classmates made... it's an enjoyable activity. Maria and I made more stamps last night, by carving rubber.

Infinity More Monkeys, a picture a day.

Looks good!
Thank you, Vicki!
And I am happy to have you confirm my suspicion. The foam from the tray was not as easy to work with as I was anticipating. As I struggled to make smooth lines, I kept thinking, 'wow, those fifth graders made it look easy! Why is this a struggle?' But. I still got a kick out of the results... now I am even more eager to work with the foam coming from Blick.
So pretty! If only I could draw...
