How do I know Geoff and I were made for each other?
Answer: He looked at the picture of Ada, and said she looks "nuts," which is exactly why I chose her picture for the post, because her expression is a good reflection of my mental and spiritual state before Michael and Patricia's comforting visit. And, when he finished reading the post he left to work saying wistfully, "I want to build a Gypsy wagon." We are both a bit nuts, and we have similar notions about things we want to do, and a lot of those things have very little to do with pressing our pants, or dusting the knick-knacks.
This love is grand.

Monday morning train wreck, and I hadn't even left the house. I was having a panic attack over the forty-two ways things were falling apart and then... then I decided to own my day. In spite of everything that the world was expecting of me, I chose to do only what I could manage, moment to moment. It's not perfect... what ever is? Hey, at least I don't feel desperate and miserable, stuff is being accomplished, and I am letting go of that horrible feeling of *me = failure.* I want to thank my sister, Cristina for an extra measure of wisdom, which encouraged this calm and rational progression, and also my aunt Blanca, for giving me a gentle perspective. Janece, you know you boosted me, too. Thank goodness for knowing when to accept help, and when to release... somehow, even letting go a little can help when trying to hang on for the long run!

Somebody needs to...
send out Mother's Day love,
clean the house (for reals,)
pay the bills
help Maria rehearse her presentation,
clean and pack the Green~Goose,
print Maker Faire passes,
order a cap and gown for graduation,
figure out how to celebrate Alex's graduation,
design and print business cards,
get off her butt and start tackling some of these tasks
instead of just writing about it on Chickenblog.
