The California Surf Museum, in Oceanside, is having a festival this weekend. They are celebrating a twenty-fifth anniversary. Go for the boards! Go for the history! Go for the Aloha wave that has spread around the world!

  1. Just don't do what the guy near us in Seaside did and end up surfing on a shark!

  4. Just off to drag my husband out of the surf right now - it's a sport that becomes a hobby that develops into an obsession. (At least that's how it is in Sydney!)

  5. The water is cold, but surfers are passionate, yes?
We have been enjoying the magic of a red tide. Algae blooms that glow at night... can you imagine those crashing waves actually lighting up? It is an amazing sight.
