The California Surf Museum, in Oceanside, is having a festival this weekend. They are celebrating a twenty-fifth anniversary. Go for the boards! Go for the history! Go for the Aloha wave that has spread around the world!

I'm jealous! of the wave, but not the full-suit. Brrrrrr, i am quite the wimp when it comes to cold water. what a ride! i love this moment.

Just off to drag my husband out of the surf right now - it's a sport that becomes a hobby that develops into an obsession. (At least that's how it is in Sydney!)
The water is cold, but surfers are passionate, yes?
We have been enjoying the magic of a red tide. Algae blooms that glow at night... can you imagine those crashing waves actually lighting up? It is an amazing sight.
