Sculpture! One of three pieces hanging at the Museum of Art, in Coos Bay, Oregon. The orange beads are antique Japanese beads, and the focal piece is actually a button with hammered silver wire coils. She also used gold filled wire.

It looks like wearable art to me, but the museum doesn't display jewelry. My mom thought they were sending her home, but the museum's art director insisted they find a way to accept her submissions: "You can't not be in the show. Your work is too incredible. I can't let this go. I've been thinking of how I'm going to do this, and this is how it's going to be: Your submissions are not jewelry. This is wire and glass sculpture; it's mixed media sculpture. Your work is fabulous." Can we all cheer very loudly, so Delia can hear?! She has been working and playing and making beautiful pieces for quite some time now, but this affirmation of her skill and artistry is a big bonus.
