Geoff and I chose a simple wood frame. William finished it... the stain is much darker than the store sample, but I am over the moon about it! It looks like it's been around for years, in the best way. Now, Geoff is installing it, and Maria and I are pressed to the scene like it's Saturday morning cartoons! The cats, too, are riveted. I can see their whisker twitching, thoughtfully calculating their escape options. When Max took his metals class he forged a wrought iron handle, and now we see its intended purpose! Our screen door is almost installed and furnished with latch and handles, and we are ready for breezes and fresh air! Oh, joy!
