The Sweetest Signs of Spring

It really is spring.

We spent the better part of our morning
acquainting ourselves with
the new kids, at Coral Tree Farm.

What a wonderful treat.

Complete heart melt - I'm a puddle. I grew up with goats when I was Maria and Amira's age. There's nothing like them. They make my heart so happy. Love these photos... although I'm a bit frightened to show them to Amira. They will, quite likely, reduce her to tears of joy over the cuteness (of everything, of the duckling, of the kids and Maria)!!

Were you tempted to try to sneak one home inside your jacket?! After all that love and affection from Maria, that little goat was probably begging to go home with you!

I must have just missed you guys. I had a meeting with them today to help us start our farm behind the school. I love Coral Tree Farm!!!! Laurel is one special woman! And those little kids are pretty darn cute.

We had no idea we were in for such a treat.
It has me in a puddle, too.

Hahaha.
The barn IS coming along nicely.

Had to be real close... we stayed a very long time.
Can you blame us? Those goats, the hosts, the garden... we didn't want to leave.

OH, how sweet... both Marie and the goats! This took me back, as our neighbors across the street from the house I grew up in, they raised pygmy goats. The time of kids being born was the best, my sister & I were over to greet the newly born young'uns. :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))
